Dr Aruvi Thiruvarudchelvan

Dr Aruvi Thiruvarudchelvan is a consultant Respiratory & Sleep Physician. She received her medical degree with honours from the University of Sydney, and undertook Physician training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Her specialty training was undertaken at Concord Hospital, Bankstown Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital where she was also a member of the lung transplantation team. She has recently completed a period as a Staff Specialist at the Sutherland Hospital.

Dr Thiruvarudchelvan’s current interests are broad and include persistent cough, difficult-to-control asthma, pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases and other complex pulmonary pathology as well as sleep pathology, including snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.
