Biography
Dr Tim Barnes joins Holdsworth House having spent the previous eight years consulting in HIV medicine at The Albion Centre. Prior to this he worked for many years in general practice in Sydney following residency at Sydney Hospital.
In addition to clinical patient care he has been involved with under and postgraduate student training and has worked in an advisory capacity for a number of governmental and NGO organisations involved with HIV service delivery and care.
He has particular interests in HIV and sexual health medicine, public health, skin conditions and men’s health amidst the spectrum of general medicine. He aims to bring a solid background of experience and practical knowledge to the clinical care of all his patients.
